Improve how people find homes, and live in them

The problem

Try listing every problem the Western world has at the moment. You might include falling fertility, poor health, financial stress, slow growth, social stagnation…

These problems share a common root. It's housing. It's simply too hard and too expensive to find a place to live.

Since we don't have affordable housing:

• Our lives are on pause
• We stay in cities we don't like, in jobs we don't want
• We don't chase opportunities
• We delay relationships, families, and plans
• We don't take risks

Housing is the foundation for everything else.

Fix it, and you will get happy societies that procreate, innovate, and thrive.

Don't fix it, and we'll ultimately turn into a ghost-cities dystopia.

How to fix this (step-by-step)

1. Make finding a home fast and simple
2. Make renting out homes fast and simple. Transition to a marketplace, remove real estate agents entirely, make transaction costs ridiculously low
3. Fix the experience of living - property management, maintenance, repairs, etc. - to create retention
4. Build our own homes from scratch, globally, at scale. Use learnings from steps 1-3 to create a new concept of living that will eliminate the current flaws
